This course introduces drawing of the nude human figure at a basic level through developing various first hand observation skills. Students will learn skills in measuring, proportion, tone, volume, negative space etc. By the end of this course, students will develop a competency in making drawings with a degree of accuracy to what is being observed. Attendance is a requirement as there are continual and formative assessments.

Took this mod 2 years ago. The prof was really helpful and even though I went in without much drawing skills, I thought it was really fun and enjoyable. However, if you want to do well, its definitely important for you to be from an arts background or have at least some decent drawing skills. If you are those who can only draw a stickman, you should prepare to S/U.
