A really fun module but very competitive as well, I remember only getting it on the last day of add drop haha. Be prepared to get dirty and the entire process of kneading clay, trimming, firing and glazing is very time consuming but we got to bring our work home at the end which was quite satisfying. Would suggest leaving your timetable free for the subsequent 3 hours following the session as it is difficult completing it within the lesson time frame, with a lot of students stay past the end time just to complete their pieces. Prof is very helpful and patient and seems quite generous with grading, most students got A- or A, never heard anyone in the class who got a B for this yet. So nothing stressful for this module apart from the time commitment, just go there to enjoy and get the free A in the process 🙂

This is a really fun and interesting module and I’m glad I took it. I really wanted to learn pottery so this class was really useful in bringing me into the world of pottery. The prof was really patient even though we had to learn everything from scratch. We got to craft and design our own ceramics and even got to bring them home! The prof is also super chill and always release us slightly earlier. However, me and my friends would often stay back just a little longer just to complete our work 😢
