PH1011 PHYSICS (3.0 AU)

This mod is suffering and pain distilled. Everything you learnt for A levels in H2 Physics flies out of the window and you’re left with this abomination. Started out trying to do my best, attended all lecture and did all my tutorials, but as time went on I didn’t understand anything and started to give up. I am a proud owner of a C grade. At least I don’t have to remod.

To all juniors, it’s ok to suck. This is the hardest mod you will ever come across for Y1 (or at least for sem 1, I guarantee it.) These are the kind of mods that you either can or cannot do.

this mod is not for the weak hearted.
Most students that do well already have covered these chapters and topics before in school.
Starting from scratch is very tough for this course.
All the best lol it was my most stressful mod in sem 1.

Literally the hardest course for me in y1s1 with the heaviest workload.
i thought it was just recapping the A lvl physics.
but it’s so much deeper and harder.
two chapters per week is insane. You need to move on before you can even assimilate the chapters learnt just now

Felt like meeting a really friendly looking guy who unexpectedly punches you so hard in the stomach and twisted all your internal organs, that you curling and shaking on the ground, in agonising pain for the whole 13 teachinig weeks 1 week of revision week.
The only thing that can save you is the bell curve jesus. it’s like a match stick that you can find in a bitter winter, you still need to grind hard in order to properly enjoy it. The lord only save those who saves themselves.

Might just be me not having proper way of studying or really stupid. Good luck for all who are about to take it.
